Seb has been part of the Australian liquor industry for three decades has had the pleasure of owning some of the most awarded bars in Australia,1806 and Heartbreaker, and being part of independent spirits including 42 Below, Anther Gin with Dervilla McGowan and Act of Treason Agave.

As partner in Anther Spirits with Dervilla McGowan, Seb was part of building a dedicated distillery and cellar door in Geelong.  Seb is a committee member with the Australian Distillers Association, a Subject Matter Expert to write the Certificate 4 Artisan Distilling Certificate, and the Introduction to Distillery Safety certified course, and a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the Australian Distilled Spirit awards, where he has been a judge for ten years, and takes on the role of Head Judge for 2026.

Sebastian has had the privilege of designing, building and commissioning several distilleries, working closely with safety and design consultants, to create safe workplaces that produce award winning spirits.
