Grainstock opens limited sponsored registrations for breweries, distilleries and bakeries

Events

Breweries, distilleries and bakeries from across Australia can now register to contribute a keg, spirit or baked goods to Grainstock 2026 in return for a three-day Grainstock pass and bus travel from a participating capital city.

The sponsored product program proved enormously popular in 2025, with more than 60 businesses taking advantage of the offer and contributing products to Grainstock.

Following the success of last year’s event—and with the Australian Beer Championship Awards taking place the night before the Melbourne bus departs—organisers expect demand for the limited sponsored places to be even stronger this year, with allocations expected to fill quickly.

Grainstock’s capital-city buses are once again made possible through the generous support of Major Sponsors AMSAT, Barrett Burston, Joe White Maltings and Voyager Craft Malt, helping bring industry delegates from across the country together at in thee Riverina NSW.

Grainstock organiser Stu Whytcross said the sponsored product model was initially designed to make it easy for breweries to showcase their beer at Saturday’s consumer festival without committing their team to running a stall or bar throughout the day.

“We wanted to create a model that allowed breweries to have a presence at Saturday’s Grainstock Festival without requiring them to bump in, set up and staff a bar all day,” Mr Whytcross said.

“The donated kegs will be served from the Grainstock consumer festival container bar. Last year, we had kegs from 44 individual breweries on the bar, which meant the brewers could enjoy the festivities, mingle with the crowd and talk about their beers without being stuck behind a bar for the entire day.

“It gives festivalgoers the chance to try beers from producers across the country, while allowing the brewers themselves to take part in the event and build genuine connections with the people drinking their products.”

Mr Whytcross said the program also helped bring together businesses from across the brewing, distilling, baking and grain industries.

“These sponsored packages allow businesses to showcase their products while giving their team the opportunity to take part in three days of tours, education, networking and celebration,” he said.

“These packages are limited and will sell out. We have a finite number of bus seats, festival taps, spirit tasting sessions and baked-goods allocations available, and these will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Registrations will close as soon as those allocations have been filled, so we strongly encourage businesses to register early.”

Delegates urged to book Griffith accommodation early

Delegates are also being encouraged to secure accommodation in Griffith, NSW as soon as possible.

Accommodation throughout Griffith sold out during last year’s Grainstock, and organisers expect rooms to be in even greater demand in 2026.

Griffith will be the central hub for Grainstock activities, including the departure and return of Thursday’s industry tours, Thursday evening welcome drinks and Saturday’s Grainstock Festival.

Shuttle buses will operate between Griffith and the Whitton Malt House for Grainstock: Ferment — Industry Symposium and Trade Show on Friday 16 October.

A limited number of powered sites for tents, camper trailers, caravans and RVs will also be available at the Whitton Malt House and can be booked through www.whittonmaltouse.com.au.

Businesses interested in securing a sponsored package are encouraged to register and book their accommodation immediately to avoid missing out.
